Dr. Ronald Cavataio, born on September 11, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was 74 years old.

Ronald’s life was marked by a deep commitment to education, service, and family. After completing his undergraduate studies, he pursued his passion for healthcare and earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Creighton University. His dedication to dentistry reflected not only a professional calling but also a desire to improve the lives of others through compassionate care.

In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Ronald served his country with honor as a member of the United States Army, where he reached the rank of Colonel before he retired. His time in the military exemplified his sense of duty and discipline—qualities that remained with him throughout his life.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne.

Also remaining to cherish Ronald’s memory are his children Kate, Sara, Laura, Rebecca, Joseph, and Annie; and his grandchildren Caleb, Noah, Winston, Audrey, Lily, Brayden, Clara, Olive, Grace, Sofia, David, Gabriela, and Miles. His legacy lives on through them and the many lives he touched throughout his career and personal life.

Ronald will be remembered for the strength of his convictions and the warmth he brought to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
