Pig Pen's obituary

Ron “Pig-Pen” McKay passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the age of 13 which in dog years was the ripe old age of 91.

Pig met his forever mom as a young pup. They traveled to many parks and trails all over the state of PA. Some of his favorite parks were Rolling Hills, Rickets Glenn and Tyler State Park. Pig-Pen was a rebel who could never say no to a trot on the beach, even when signs were clearly posted. He was a guardian, no person, stick, or blow of wind could pass the door without him alerting and protecting his family. Pig had a delightful smile and was a gentle man that took pleasure in a lazy day of naps with Mom Dad and Jo.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted mother and father, Kelly Mckay and Father Brian Kelly, his beloved sister Jo, brother Sid Ficious and his many friends. He is predeceased by Fred Fish, who met him happily at the Rainbow Bridge.

In lieu of flowers please donate to Hope for the animals at http://hopefortheanimals.org/ a no kill shelter located in Morrisville.
