Brother… you did great and your time here was spent encouraging and loving others.

Rest In Peace

Still missing you and your love, my dearest friend!
My condolences to Brem's family. I met Brim in the mid-70's through our mutual affiliations and intersections with George Clinton, and Archie Ivy...Brim a true Brother From Another Mother (BFAM), light warrior and mentor...Miss his physical presence, but know he will forever walk with me! We are blessed.

Quite simply, I loved him. He was a gentle giant force force for peace and love. I first met him in 1993 and spilled good amount of time with him. He fought his illness bravely and with dignity. Just a class act!

Brem welcomed me to the Funk family with open arms. He was kind to me. I’m really going to miss him.
Sending my condolence to all family and friends. Brem was one of the good ones. Always there for you in the time of need. Always giving positive advice, always making you feel important and special. Always giving encouragement, always sharing whatever he had, that you needed.. oh ... how I miss my friend. R.I.P. Ron🙏🏾 Much love...much 💕
1st met Ron at The 1968 2 “HELL WEEKS” ( used to be called ) because of the long 2-a-day practices of hitting and little water! We were “TEAMATES FOR Two years at HARBOR JR COLLEGE! We played against the Best Teams in the Nation!
Ron was a “HITTER”! This man could Tackle! The “INTERESTING TJING ABOUT “BREM” was that he always wore dark shades! ( SUNGLASSES!) I never saw them fall off even after his great hits!
He was a Silent leader with his words but a “LOUD VOICE”with his “hits”on the opponents!
In our 2nd year together we reached the “Top”for in 1969 we were Ranked as the #1 J.C.FOOTBALL TEAM IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND 3rd in the Nation!!! RON BREMBRY’s defensive play was one of the reasons for our success as the UNDEFEATED SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CONFERENCE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS!
OFF THE FIELD . His Swagger was cool and inviting! His manner was friendly and his voice was Stoic!
Years later I got to Text with Brem sharing stories of music, after I told him my Son was the lead guitar player for “Steel Pulse” I learned he was big time in the music business with Mr Funk George Clinton.. who my son knew about! We were supposed to meet up .. as I wanted my son David JR , who was just Nominated for a Grammy as co-producer on Steel Pulse’s nominated album.., but Brem left us too early!
I was happy I got in Touch with him to get him to our induction into the Harbor college Hall of Fame for that 1969 team success!
He will always be remembered as the coolest defensive dude who could hit wearing sunglasses Mr. shades what are the coolest guys I ever met at Harbor college!I have film I have introducing him at the Hall of Fame which was pretty cool rest in peace my man see you soon I hope Go Seahawks!

Condolences to Shakira and your family.
Brem was my SAN JOSE BIG BROTHER - a protector and confidant. His quiet demeanor and commanding compassion is one of my many memories. I can still see him with his dark glasses, hat cocked to the side and his guitar. He introduced me to Jimmy Hendrix! I will miss checking in on him. Thanks for the Love! Rest In Peace my Brother Brem.
Mr Bremby always had a smile on his face. He was a kind friendly person. He will be missed. GOD bless you Mr Bremby 🙏🏽

Brem & George at Grammy P…
Brem & George at Grammy Party - Parliament/Funkadelic Lifetime Achievement, didn't happen if no Brem.
I am Sheila Webber cousin to Al Welch. I met Brem when we were teenagers together back in 1969-70.
I remember him always jovial and kidding around.
I saw him on my last visit to Los Angeles in November 2018.
After which we got together on line Saturday nights critiquing movies on TCM with Al and another Chicago friend.
Brem would send messages of encouragement to me and I to him.
I was impressed by all of the beautiful comments from Others about what a kind loyal gentleman he was.
My sentiments as well.
I know the Lord has welcomed Brem into the kingdom saying “Well Done my faithful servant.”
All of the wonderful deeds he performed for his Mom, Natalie, friends and loved ones are recorded in God book of life.
Rest well my friend with Love ❤️.
Angels walk amongst us and we don’t know or see them. Yet, when they are gone ( called back to Heaven) we realize who they were.
With love to the family. Always.
Ron was a very special man that always brought a smile to my face and made me feel like "family." I was very blessed to have known him and worked with him. I will always be grateful to him for his sincere kindness and friendship. I am sending my love to his family.
Uncle Brem was a light in my life. Always loving, kind, and jovial spirit. I know my entire family will miss him so much, but I’m so thankful for the time I did have with him.
My expressed condolences and sympathy extends to his daughter/remaining family, all he loved and that love him
He thrived on helping them he loved and cared for.
In response to "What did Brem love to do?"
Thank God for the opportunity to work with, and be a friend and brother to one of the most honest and loving humans I’ve ever witnessed! May Heaven welcome you with open arms❤️
