Romeo Gonzales was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather. A man of faith, he loved God deeply and always put his family first. He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Margarita Gonzales; his grandson, Jorge Gonzalez; and his granddaughter, Ukanunuxi Gonzales.

He is survived by his son, Jerado Gonzales; his daughter, Citlali Gomez, and his son-in-law, Wilson Rivera Lucero; and his grandchildren, Julie Lucero, Sirena Howard, Rose Tedder, Evangeline Tedder, Rosa De Mers, Menda De Mers, Stephen De Mers, Wilson Lucero, Jesse Lucero, Saleena Lucero, and Maria Lucero.
