My little brother had the kindest heart. He was a gentle giant and so sweet, caring, and creative. A piece of my heart will be with him forever. I cherish the 25.5 years we got to have him in our lives. He is so very loved and deeply missed by me and my family.

Roman David Whitener, age 25 of Salem, Indiana passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, in his residence. Born August 31, 1995 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, he was the son of David T. Whitener and Catherine L. (Warneke) Whitener. Roman was a lifelong resident of Washington County and a 2014 graduate of Salem High School.
