Rolando "Rolly" Solis Mercado, a proud architect, loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with kidney disease. He was 81 years old.
Rolando was born on September 1, 1944, in Batangas, Philippines, to Mariano and Marieta Mercado. From a young age, he showed determination and creativity that would later guide him to a respected career in architecture. He took great pride in his work and …
