Roland "Buddy" Lewis Wade, age 63 of Bethune, S.C. passed away, Friday, December 6, 2024, at his home. Born in Sheffield, Alabama, he was a son of the late David Elwood Fisher and Margaret Evelyn Wade Letson. He was raised by his late grandparents, Roland and Lena Wade. He was a mechanic in the automotive industry and a jack of all trades. Mr. Wade was a NASCAR fan, an Alabama football fan, a family man …

My sister, brothers, and myself are planning a Celebration of Life for our father Roland Lewis Wade. As dad did not have life insurance and lived off of disability we are working on raising the funds for his cremation. He lost his battle to lung cancer after complications last Friday December 6th, 2024. His obituary has been updated on the Funeral Homes website at
