Roland "Buddy" Lewis Wade, age 63 of Bethune, S.C. passed away, Friday, December 6, 2024, at his home. Born in Sheffield, Alabama, he was a son of the late David Elwood Fisher and Margaret Evelyn Wade Letson. He was raised by his late grandparents, Roland and Lena Wade. He was a mechanic in the automotive industry and a jack of all trades. Mr. Wade was a NASCAR fan, an Alabama football fan, a family man and a practical joker. He also enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles.

Preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Evelyn Letson; father, David Fisher; grandparents Lena “Nannie” and Roland “Pop” Wade, Lela & Lewis Fisher; and brother James “Jimmy” Bruce. Buddy is survived by his wife Tanya of 20 years and their children Bailey & Spencer Wade, and Taylor Stogner and her children Kiaya, Brilynn, Hayden. He is also survived by his older children Jennifer Harris (from Alabama) and her husband Matthew and their children Aubrey and Owen. Jessica Wade (from Alabama) and fiancé Kevin Ticer and their children Taylor and Lakin. Joshua Wade (from Alabama) and his wife Amy and their children Isabella, Shaun, Christian, & Rosalie. James Wade (from Georgia) and girlfriend Alisha and their children Kalieb and Emma Lee. And Mitchell Wade (from North Carolina). Buddy was also survived by his 3 brothers Glenn Wade (Cindy), and Bill Bruce and David (Kathy) Fisher, a sister Tammy (Dallas) Winkler; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a celebration of life service later.
