Roland Eugene Payeur, born on May 19, 1949, in Sanford, Maine, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, in North Berwick, Maine. He was 76 years old.

Roland was a man whose life was marked by generosity, kindness, and a deep love for his family and the outdoors. Those who knew him remember his selfless nature and the warmth he brought into every room. His presence was a steady source of comfort and strength to those around him.

He is lovingly remembered by his father, Raymond Payeur; his daughter Michelle Payeur Cronin, and son in law Todd Cronin; his son, Conrad Payeur, and daughter in law Charity Flynn. Roland also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren…Joseph, granddaughter in law Caytlinn, Nicholas, Sidney, grandson in law; Jacob, Moriah, and grandson in law Tanner—and 6 great-grandchildren: Cadence, Ellianna, Blessing, Autumn, Everett, and Austin. His beloved wife, Kathleen Payeur, preceded him in death, and of course his beloved dog Trapper. 

Roland found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for hunting and fishing that connected him deeply with nature. His garden was a place of pride and peace.

 In the kitchen, Roland’s love and talent for cooking brought people together over meals and shared laughter.

His legacy lives on through the lives he touched with his unwavering kindness and generous spirit. 

May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.
