Roger Dale Tomblin, 76, passed away surrounded by his family in Sebring, Florida, on May 17, 2025. Born in Cooter, Missouri, on July 28, 1948. Roger was the eldest of eight children born to Reba and Odell Tomblin.

Roger was a devoted husband to his wife Carol for 48 years, and a loving father to his children; Adrian,Cassie, Cory, Desiree, Theresa, Noah, and Chloe, and grandchildren; JC, Caleb, and Darien. Roger and Carol were also foster parents to over one hundred children in need from the community.

After serving in the United State Army, Roger worked for over forty years as an underground utility contractor and in the citrus industry. Roger was known for his work ethic and selflessness. Beyond his career, Roger was passionate about fishing, airboating, and spending time with his family. Roger made numerous personal sacrifices to better his family’s lives.

Roger was a devout Christian and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church for 51 years. Roger served tirelessly in the youth program mentoring to teenagers and sharing his passion of Christ. Roger was dedicated member of Fellowship Baptist Church’s van ministry spending countless hours driving children and youth to church to learn about God. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community members
