Remember Roger from our days in the marine corps in Pensacola ,Fla in 1966!! We also hooked up a few times  after that in the far east , specifically Yokohama Japan while on R+R from Vietnam. He was a good guy , RIP and Semper fi brother marine .

I met Roger (Sturgis, as we called him) when I began working in the Hardeman County Courthouse in 2022. Being greeted by him every morning was one of the highlights of my day.  He was such a pleasure to work with, and I will never forget how he opened court with his beautiful, booming voice.  I am blessed that our paths crossed.  My condolences to his family.

Roger was a great friend worked with Roger for many many years at the Sheriff Office a great Deputy and a really great person Roger you will be missed my friend prayers and condolences to Rogers family

So sorry to hear of Roger’s passing! He was a great Christian man. I enjoyed getting to visit with him when we worked at the Hardeman County Courthouse. Praying for his family!

Roger was a good person and a good friend 

He loved law enforcement 

He was definitely a SHEEPDOG 

He will be missed
