He wasn't my Dad by birth, but he was my Dad by choice and I'll be eternally grateful for that. He taught me the value of hard work, humour, organization, and really bad puns. Case in point: his pet name for me was Shithead #1 (my sister was #2, thank God for small miracles) and I called him King Shit in return. Family was a top priority for him, and he took amazing care of my Mom and the rest of us shitheads. He loved his grandchildren dearly and we will all miss him like crazy. Here's to you, Dad, may you rest easy in that great, spotless kitchen in the sky. <3
