I was very sad to learn of Roger’s death. Although I moved away from Massachusetts in the early 1980s, I never forgot him. I first encountered Roger after becoming a member of the Pep’s Gym in Framingham when I was in high school. I got to know him through both observation and conversation and eventually realized the intimidating gym owner was a gentle giant who loved God and his family.
