Sally & family,
Sorry to hear of Roger's passing. Until the pandemic changed everything, I often spent late afternoons at Dunk'n Donuts with Roger, cousin Mike and a group of guys from Norwood and Walpole talking about all sorts of things. We haven't gathered there since March 13 of last year. I'd heard from another coffee drinker that Roger had undergone some serious surgery but he was in a rehab and recovering. I was shocked to learn he'd suddenly passed away.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

I used to stop by with a half gallon of crescent ridge ice cream. He would open that brown paper bag like a kid on Christmas.

Sally & family!
Roger & Jimmy worked together years ago driving sweepers on the Logan Airport runway when J.F. White was repaving the runway. One of Jimmy's funniest stories about Roger was when they would pass each other as they were driving the sweepers & Roger pulled up beside Jimmy & said "Excuse, do you have any grey poupon?" & then just continued driving the sweeper. Jimmy thought he was a real character & told me we had to meet up with you and Roger. We did and I am so glad that we did. My fondest memories of both of you were the annual Christmas parties at our house. I have photos of Roger wearing his Santa suspenders & you of course with you reindeer headband. Those were such special memories & I am so glad that I have them. Roger was definitely a character & I always enjoyed our lengthy conversations. I know that he & Jimmy are hanging out at Dunkin', drinking their coffee and reminiscing about the good old days.
I am thinking of your and your children as you face the days ahead. You are all in my thoughts & prayers.
Love,
Norma
