Uncle Roger was my favorite uncle 💞. He took me to my first Laker game 💜💛 at the Forum, he taught me so much about the game about basketball 🏀 including playing games with him and his buddies for many years and also introduced me to playing the game of poker 🃏. I'm so heartbroken 💔 he is no longer with us but happy is not in pain. We will reunite again one day, I love you uncle 🥹

Uncle Roger was one of my most favorite uncles and men in my life! He always brought me so much joy and happiness whenever I was around him. I can hear his laugh and see his smile as we both always ragged on one another about our height. 😂🥹 He was a father figure to me and one of the kindest, loving men I’ve ever known. He’s missed dearly and will be forever loved. Love you, Uncle. ❤️Kimi

Rodger has been my next door neighbor for about 5 years now. He had been one of the nicest, thoughtful, wonderful and gracious people I have ever met, and we immediately became good buddies. I would always come over and talk sports- his eyes would light up whenever he started telling stories about his days playing basketball. His physical presence will be missed, but in spirit, he will forever be in my heart, and we will continue to have those fun conversations. Heaven has found itself a new angel as well as a new point guard. Until we meet again, my friend.

We are truly sorry for your loss, Roger was so proud of his family we will all miss him dearly.

I will always have nothing but great memories, I love and miss my brother.
