Roger Herrera, age 68, passed away on October 8, 2024 in Banning CA surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born in Indio, CA to Roger Herrera and Lucy Ogas, and was one of five children. He spent the past 30 years with the love of his life, Beverly Jo. Roger was a family man and best known as dad or papa. He was a kind hearted, devoted and loving man who was a great friend and neighbor. He always made himself available to anyone who needed him but especially for his family and grandchildren.

Roger was an avid fisherman and belonged to the fishing groups, Moone Worms and Fish Thug Baits. He won many fishing derby’s and truly enjoyed spending the day with a pole and a good friend. He loved going to the casinos with Jo, but enjoyed it even more when he left with the casinos money.

Roger will be terribly missed by all who knew him. It will be in the stories that we share the memories of good times spent and the laughter that he will be remembered for and we will celebrate his life for all the blessings he gave to us.

Roger leaves behind his beloved Jo, his four children and their spouses, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two siblings, Carey Lovato (Jesse), Kevin Campbell (Ashley), Josh Campbell (Amanda), Tanieshia Beeson (Kurtis), Cody Herrera, Amber Lovato, Tristyn Lovato, Eryn Campbell, Kaitlyn Beeson, Samuel Beeson, Evann Campbell, Milena Rose Campbell, Khloe Herrera, Sandra Herrera, Gary Herrera and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roger Herrera and Lucy Ogas, and his two brothers Joe Herrera and Jimmy Herrera.
