Roger's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roger Cresci, born on November 16, 1954, and who left us too soon on January 13, 2022. Roger, a man of strength, stubbornness, and an enormous heart, touched the lives of everyone he encountered with his caring nature and kind spirit.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Kawtar Cresci, whom he married in 2001. His bond with Kawtar was unbreakable, a beautiful testament to conviction, tenderness, and shared love for life. Their bond was further solidified by the birth of their beloved daughter, Sophia Cresci, on March 6, 2007. Sophia, a beacon of joy in Roger's life, will continue to honor her father's legacy every day. Roger is also survived by his brother, Randy Cresci, and sister, Rosemary Corona, who will remember him with great affection.
Roger had a palate for simple yet fulfilling pleasures; eggs and water were his favored food and drink. A fan of the band Journey, Roger's taste in music was as strong as his love for the movie 'The Notebook'. An ardent supporter of the New York Giants, his sportsmanship often shone through his dedication to the team.
Roger's passion for games was evident in his fondness for Monopoly. A car enthusiast, he enjoyed spending his leisure time looking at cars and working out at the gym, often choosing weightlifting as his preferred form of exercise. His favorite color, black, reflected the depth and strength of his persona.
St. Augustine Beach held a special place in Roger's heart as his favorite vacation spot, while locally, his preferred destination was the gym. This was parallel to his passion for health and vitality, an integral part of his essence.
Roger was a man who carried essential lessons to share; the foremost amongst them being the conviction to always stand up for oneself. His personality and values have left an indelible imprint on those lucky enough to know him. He will be profoundly missed, especially by his beloved wife Kawtar, cherished daughter Sophia, and the many people whose lives he touched.
Not just a loss to his family, the world too has lost a remarkable man in Roger Cresci. A strong, caring, and kind-hearted soul, Roger's departure is heartfelt. May his soul find eternal peace. His family will continue to love him and cherish his memory forever.
