Rodrick's obituary
Rodrick Harrison Jr., born on August 31, 1970, passed away on January 1, 2025, leaving a legacy of kindness, compassion, and a life well-lived. He was a man who cherished his friends and family even when it was difficult, savored good food, and filled everyone’s world with laughter and positivity.
He had a deep passion for “fixing things” and cooking out, never missing an opportunity to have a good time with friends and loved ones. His love for food was well known, with a particular fondness for chicken during family cookouts. Rodrick was a fan of watching TV, his favorite show being "News with Aunt Linda". And his Football games! He truly loved His Cars a lot! The local spot he frequented the most was Frickers, a testament to his love for community and camaraderie.
Rodrick was proceeded in death by his father, Rodrick Harrison, mother Barbara Harrison, his daughter Katelynn Harrison, and his great nephew Dakota Stonerock.
He is survived by his his daughter Ashlynn Harrison, sister Shannon Barbra Stonerock, Aunt Linda Griffie and Uncle David, his cousins Chrissy George and David Griffie, also his nieces and nephews, Chelsea W, Cheyanne S, Joshua W and Danielle, Destiny S, and Noah S. Also his grandchildren. Any many more loved ones including his friends.
Described as positive, caring, loving, and funny, Rodrick's life philosophy was simple yet profound - "Do what you have to do no matter what life throws at you".
He was a great friend to others, a notable accomplishment that he took immense pride in. He will always be remembered for his resilience, sense of humor, and his compassionate heart.
His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
His legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to live on through the memories and lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. We, his family and friends, will cherish the love and joy he brought into our lives and remember him with fondness and love.
