Rodolfo's obituary
Rodolfo N. Aloma, a remarkable individual and devoted husband, peacefully passed away on December 1st, 2023. He was born on August 5th, 1928, in Cuba. He worked as a Bridge/Infrastructure Draftsman/Engineer all of his career. He was a true patriot that instilled Cuban tradition and values in his children and grandchildren.
He lived a life full of vigor, and enjoyed sharing his wisdom with his family. He is fondly remembered by all who knew him for his fun-loving spirit, deep affection towards loved ones, and sharp intellect.
He leaves behind his devoted daughter, Helaine Fortes(Aloma) as well as one son, Alejandro Aloma. Grandchildren, Christopher and Anthony Fortes, Justin Aloma and wife Angie, Matthew Aloma, Natalie Rodriguez (Aloma) and husband Vladimir, Andres Aloma and wife Ashley, Jonathan Aloma and wife Andrea as well as a daughter in-law, Patricia. He also leaves many great grandchildren. He has three surviving sisters, a niece and nephew. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Leonor and son Rodolfo (Rudy) as well as his Brother Luis Aloma.
He excelled as an artist and leaves a multitude of his finest work with family and friends.
Rodolfo's legacy is a testament to his genuineness and his strength to speak the truth. He was unapologetically himself, a true original who never faltered in his authenticity. This is a legacy that will continue to live on, influencing and guiding his family through the future.
Although Rodolfo may no longer be with us physically, his spirit, ideals and the love he expressed throughout his life and art will continue to light up the lives of those who knew him.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at a future date.
