Rodolfo's obituary
Sept 13, 1956-July 25, 2022
He was born in Cuba, lived in Manchester, CT and worked for TRC Environmental.
He immigrated to the United States with his parents and younger brother in 1966. He later had a sister born in the U.S. He is predeceased by his Mother, Leonor T. Aloma of New Britain, CT. He leaves behind his Father, Rodolfo N. Aloma, Brother Alejandro R. Aloma and Sister Helaine L. Fortes (Aloma). He and his wife of 40 years, Patricia (Velasquez), dedicated themselves to their 3 children. They have a Daughter, Natalie Rodriguez (Aloma) and sons Jonathan and Andres Aloma. He was very close with his Son-in-law, Vladimir Rodriguez, Daughter-in-laws, Andrea and Ashley. He enjoyed his 5 grandchildren immensely and would do anything for them. He had aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that he was close with as well. He lived life to the fullest socializing with close life-long friends and family, travelling and spending time on/near the water especially in Florida. His heritage was important to him and loved keeping it alive. A cigar in the backyard with his Father or Sons with a Cuba Libre in hand were special moments to him. He had a big heart, life of the party and loved by everyone. His absence will be felt by everyone he touched in this life. He has left a sudden void in all of us but he will live on in our hearts.
A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Hartford, CT on August 20th at 10am. In lieu of flowers or gifts please donate to the American Heart Association in his name.
