Personal note from Amy

Rodney was a force who deeply touched everyone in his life with his never ending smiles and charm.

Rodney loved traveling! He loved trips with the kids and grandkids to SunRiver, Oregon, Disneyland, or Arizona. He loved Las Vegas, where we went more times than I can count, including for Thanksgiving 2024 for Lilah’s LWQMA National’s races. In Vegas, Rodney loved to shop and run the streets 24 hours a day. He loved our trips to Italy, Egypt, Chili, Peru, The Bahamas, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Brazil, and his favorite, Greece. Rodney loved traveling almost as much as he loved planning our next trip.

Rodney loved his family and grand children and every moment he spent with or talking to them.

Rodney loved his job at King County Solid Waste where he worked for 21 years and where many of his co-workers became his best friends.

Rodney was a presence that I will miss forever.
