As part of the Construction Administaetion Group and Architect, Rod and his team interacted on many coordination issues , when needed with me.

He was a great mentor from an engineering group to me. They always set us straight..loved it

I will cherish you straight forwardness to keep us in line.

You family does show the love from them to you and visa versa.

Rest in peace my friend, you were the best.

Bob Del Popolo

Still think about ya buddy.   You’d be torn about the Chiefs and Brock Purdy (cyclone) playing for the 49ers in superbowl.
My thoughts and prayers are with Oathout family during this time. I have had the pleasure of knowing Rod for over 15 years. Rod and I have worked on numerous construction projects together at Kearney School District. Through our working relationship, the friendship was developed. Rod was so proud of his family and always talked about school and sports. Rod will be missed but his family carries on his legacy!

Please except our deepest sympathies and condolences in this difficult time. Rod's legacy will live on through the people he touched.......none more than his precious family.
Rod was such a joy to be around! I loved his energy and passion for life. I'll cling to the times we spent together at Royals and Chiefs tailgates, at various golf outings and at company-related events. I hope at some point in the very near future, you can find some peace and solace in your memories. I miss my friend! Andy Anderson

One of their favorite holidays!
Our company hired Rod to work with us a little over a year ago. He was one of the classiest, compassionate, and most competent people I have never met in person. All through calls and TEAMS. I talked with him about his journey over the last year. We were all pained to hear of his last few weeks, and saddened by his death. Our company lost a great consultant. I lost a friend. Rest In Peace Rod. My condolences to family and friends.
