It is with the deepest sorrow that the family of Rodney Earl McBride, Jr. announces his passing on Sunday, January 17, 2021. A celebration of his bright and shining light will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021, at Mount Welcome Missionary Baptist Church located at 581 Parker Ave, Decatur, Georgia 30032. A private family viewing will take place from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

To adhere with COVID-19 protocols, masks must be worn at all times and seating capacity for the celebration service is extremely limited. Therefore, please confirm your attendance on this site. For family and friends unable to attend, the service will be live streamed on a variety of online platforms. You may obtain log-on information for attending the service virtually here. In lieu of a reception, pre-boxed, individual, take-away meals will be provided for attendees.
