My Dad was such a hoot! I tell people all the time that my childhood was so much fun! Dad knew how to make us all laugh and he taught us how to have a good time. He was always involved in our sports and activities (I mean... he constantly drove me to/from my football games for my Hyline performances... not many Dads put so much effort into Dance! LOL!), and he loved watching us do our thang! I'll miss his goofiness, our talks, and his face at our kids' events, but I know he's up there playing a round of golf in Heaven!

I'll never forget the first time I met Rodney when he & Mike came over to my house when I first started school with him in 7th grade. Mom said, There's 2 boys at the door that want to see you. So i went out side & Rodney chased me all over the yard to try and catch me. When i couldnt run any more, he came over and tried to kiss me. I was shocked! It didnt happen but we all ended up great friends the rest of our school years!
Signed anonymous! Mike might remember! LOL !!😆

I lost touch with Rodney after we Graduated from Reagan, but the thing I remember most was, he never met a stranger. He was friendly to everybody and disliked no one. He was my friend!!
Rest in peace

I am the Reagan Class of 1966 Site Administrator and send out all messages, including the "In Memory" notices to our Reagan Class of 1966 site members. I sent out one for Rodney, including the details of his Celebration of Life.
Many of our Reagan Class of 1966 went to school together at Harris Elementary, Pierce Junior High, Austin High for 2 years, and Reagan High as the first Seniors. Rodney is remembered as a fun loving and funny guy that always made us laugh. Great guy to be around and liked by all.
A group of us Reagan guys have "lunch bunch" get together's often and were happy to have Rodney at our Salt Lick BBQ lunch in 2024. A fun time having Rodney there. (see photo - Rodney on left side of table at far end).
Our lunch bunch and all his Reagan classmates will miss Rodney very much.
Rest in Peace, Rodney

Saddened to lose my golfing partner, Rod and I lost a lot of bets to Pat and Jack, but he was always a “hoot” to play a round with. Can still hear his now famous words upon hitting an errant shot ( which occurred rather often) “Wow, Where did that come from?”
