He is survived by his wife Tamara Johnson and his loving children, Penelope Johnson, Camereon Johnson, Katee Hudson, Breaunna Bly, Destiny Woods, and Imani Johnson. Each of them will remember him for his guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support. Rodney is also survived by his brother, Jordan Johnson, with whom he shared many cherished memories.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Johnson and Kendra Woods, whose teachings and love shaped Rodney into the wonderful man he became. He honored them through his actions and how he lived his life.
Rodney was an active attendee at the Church of Nazerene in Memphis, where his faith played an important role in his life. His devotion and commitment to his church community were evident in his actions, as he was always ready to serve and assist whenever there was a need.
Among his favorite recreational activities was fishing; he cherished the tranquility and peace it provided him. He was also a fervent supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, never missing a game and always cheering them with undeniable passion.
