I was very sad to hear of Rodger's passing. Quite a shock, actually. I didn't see him often, but when I did he usually had a very happy disposition. We shared a common passion of collecting Christmas Village pieces. He will be missed.

On December 21st, Dad and I watched the Longhorns win a playoff game on TV and later that night we went in person to watch our beloved San Antonio Spurs win! Due to his limited mobility and other health issues, I knew then that would be the last game we would attend together. It was a great day and a fantastic memory that I will cherish the rest of my life. Rest easy, Dad, I have it from here...

I'm sorry for the loss of Rodger. We all had fun together many years ago.

My dear friend, Rodger, who I met in college at Iowa Wesleyan and then six years ago, we became good friends again. He was planning  on visiting me in Florida as soon as he felt better. I will truly miss him!  My thoughts and prayers are with Rodger and his family.

     Love you, Rodger, Fran Toal
