Roderick Camillus MacNeil, AKA Cam or Cammie from Iona, Cape Breton, NS
Born July 12th 1945, passed away peacefully on September 11th 2020 at Dartmouth General Hospital of a stroke.

Cam served 29 years in the Royal Canadian Armed Forces as part of Royal Canadian Electronics Mechanical Engineer (RCEME), as a specialist in his field. He taught electronics in the Armed Forces School in CFB Kingston, On.
He served in the cold war for NATO 2 tours to Lahr, Germany, 6 months at CFS Alert, Ellesmere Island, then Norway, Greenland and he also spent time in Cyprus. He also helped with the Olympics in Montreal.
He loved to play guitar and was popular at parties. Cam was invited to be on Sing-along Jubilee with Bill Langstroth at CBC Halifax, but the Army had called.
Cam excelled in his love for electronics and continued this as a hobby at home by building computers from scratch to fixing TV’s and VCR’s. Cam also loved to research by reading about whatever his interests were. He also loved a challenge he never let a challenge win. He was a very eccentric man and was a loving man . His favorite saying was “Right”, after everything he said, to ensure you heard him. Calling Occupants from interplanetary craft, right?
