We mourn the loss of Roderick 'Suga Bear and Rod' Adams, a cherished father and esteemed individual, who passed away on March 1, 2024. Born on October 24, 1967, Roderick never shied away from embracing the vibrant dimensions of his personality, enchanting those around him with his spirit. He could often be seen making his voice heard at various public hearings. Roderick was a community and neighbor activist who will surely be missed. 

Roderick's life was enriched by the love of his daughters, Reonna, Tylea, Kiara, Rakia, Reese, Ranie, Sydney, and his four grandchildren who survive him.  And most certainly his friends, classmates, and loved ones. 

As we remember Roderick, let his courage, energy and zest for life serve as an everlasting inspiration. May his soul rest in peace.
