Robyn's obituary
It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Robyn Kinsey (DeLong), who was born on October 12, 1985, and left us too soon on February 14, 2024. A charismatic, adventurous, and big-hearted soul, Robyn was known for her empathetic, selfless nature, mischievous sense of humor, and loving personality.
Robyn is survived by her devoted mother, Shari (Ted) Workman, and her father, Michael Gordon. She also leaves behind her adoring grandmothers, Shirley Baldwin and Carole Gordon. Robyn's vibrant spirit is cherished by her siblings, Kaitlin (Nicole) Tornero, Nikki DeLong, Brandon Carpenter, Michael Kopina, Heaven Workman, Ashley (Russell) Westlake, and Dustin Workman.
Robyn was predeceased by her precious children, Baby Zander and Baby Lily'Aunah, her dear sister, Sarah Kopina, and her grandfathers, Calvin Baldwin and Jimmie Gordon.
Robyn graduated from Mansfield Enhancement Academy in 2006 and was attending Animal Behavioral College at the time of her passing, pursuing her dream to become a Zookeeper's Assistant. Her love for animals, particularly Pit Bulls, was an integral part of her life. Robyn firmly believed in the misunderstood and often mistreated nature of Pit Bulls, comparing their plight to her own experiences. Her advocacy for these beautiful souls was a reflection of her own beautiful soul.
Robyn enjoyed a range of recreational activities, including fishing, music, drawing, painting, arts and crafts, and reading. Always excited to learn new things, Robyn also cherished spending time with her loved ones and her pups. Her passion extended to cooking, where she created delightful dishes for all to enjoy.
A Celebration of Life for Robyn will be held on April 14, 2024, at 8:30 PM at Charles Mill Lake Park. Please join us as we remember and honor the radiant life of Robyn Kinsey, whose impact on our lives will forever resonate in our memories and hearts.
