Robyn moved to Central Oregon from Oklahoma when she was just nine years old with her mother, Charlotte. She often laughed about her early days learning the West Coast way of speaking—mispronouncing Powell Butte as “Powell Butty” and once ordering “one-ton soup” at a Chinese restaurant. From that point on, Central Oregon became her lifelong home.
She became a mother at just sixteen when she had her daughter Tyria, a moment that changed the course …
