I met Robin back in 2003 at Club Cabaret in Indianapolis 1st gay club I seen her she seen me came off stage collected her tips from others around me walked up to me planted her red lips on my cheek. Finished her number on stage guys around me saying she marked you honey. Then she comes out and sits on a stool next to me and wanted to know every thing about me.

She said b/c of me she was going to get a show together to perform at the unicorn.  I began driving her from the bus station lugging her big red suitcase in my SUV. Taking her to perform at various clubs in Indianapolis n some in Ohio, Kentucky, and I think Tennessee.  

She then talked me into doing drag idk how she did it. But I became Tasha Dupree. Later Tasha Dupree Steel, then back to Tasha Dupree. I enjoyed doing after my 1st time. Yes they were only guest spots but because of her I got into it. Only did drag one or two times since my brain injury. But I honestly enjoyed it every moment.  So so sad to see that mama is gone. But I'ma try n continue to make her name rememberd with my side business. 

Mama I truly love you n miss you tell the old entertainers around you that Tasha is up my sleeves.
