I'm thinking of Robin today, her kindness and her love for her family, and I'm thinking of Savannah especially. Sending love and prayers.

Happy birthday in heaven Robin! I know that’s where you are because only angels like you go back home.

It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since you left us. We miss you! ❤️
Robin had no boundaries on who she loved. Robin supported the HIV/AIDS community during a time when many people openly discriminated against those infected and impacted. She participated in AIDS Walk and embraced anyone who walked in concert with her. She served on boards and committees within the community advocating for the HIV/AIDS community. She genuinely cared about people as human beings!
Happy birthday in heaven my friend!

Luv you. Thelma
Dear Bobby and Savannah and all of Robin’s family,

Me and Tony’s hearts join with you in sorrow and we wish that we could be there to hug you and hold your hands through this sad time.

From the moment we met Robin, we felt a strong connection. The shared Bronx history and the roads we 4 had traveled since had a part, but mostly it was Robin’s infectious joy of life, of the small moments and her deep gratitude, her warm hospitality and her openheartedness that touched us immediately…and for 25 years, I have always been able to tap into those qualities when we met for joyous occasions. No matter how long between visits, it felt like no time had passed!
However, Robin’s biggest impact on me took place in the last 2 years. She shared her energy, her honesty and her deep faith with me to boost me up through sorrows of my own.

I will remember her beautiful face and voice, her generous laughter and her soothing words.
She had the wonderful qualities of putting others first and of digging into a deep well of faith.

The pain of losing her is difficult for all those left behind, but I know that Robin was confident of her destination and was not afraid and in her heart she carried a great love for her family.

With a full and loving heart,
yours,
Renee Martinez
Hello Family & Friends, …
Hello Family & Friends, Please see the invitation above for Robin Ross’s Memorial Service Live on Facebook on May 30th @ 11AM. A link to the service will be provided soon. Peace and love, Drew
I met Robin when she moved to San Diego. Her smile was sincere and loving. We volunteered together at the Catfish Club with Rev George Walker Smith, UNCF, AIDS Walk and various HIV/AIDS organizations. Her beauty was more than her smile, hair, legs and style—it was her spirit. We enjoyed eating Thai food way too often! She was Betsy Boop in the flesh and I was proud to be her friend. It has taken me a while to digest the news that she no longer shares this earth with me. Although we hadn’t talked or seen each other in a while since she moved to Los Angeles and I moved to Sacramento—my love for her as a friend was always present. She sang “I’m Every Woman” during a UNCF Fundraiser and that was truly who she was! Daughter, Wife, Sister, Mother, Friend—I am blessed to have called her friend.
