Remember

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robin Charles Rex, who left us on 25th February 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Robin was a devoted father to his children and a proud grandfather to his three cherished grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Linda, who passed 17 years ago.

He shared a close and treasured bond with Linda’s brothers and sister, who enriched his life with their unwavering love, laughter, and support. They remained an integral part of his journey, offering strength and joy in both good times and challenging moments.

In his later years, he found joy and companionship with Cynthia, who brought renewed light and love into his life.

He was the second eldest of five brothers, with whom he shared a close and lifelong bond.

A passionate lover of golf, Robin spent countless hours perfecting his swing and enjoying the camaraderie of the sport. Professionally, he was a highly respected managing director, admired for his leadership and integrity, until his well-earned retirement.

Beyond his accomplishments, Robin had a deep affection for animals, particularly dogs, who brought him endless happiness. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering kindness will be remembered by all who knew him.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and cared for him during his final days. Your kindness and compassion meant the world to him and to us.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA).

His legacy of love and resilience lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
