Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 Robin Alice (Small) Miller died suddenly at her South Carolina home, with family, following a short battle with brain cancer.

     She was the beloved wife of Joe Miller, whom she shared 44 years of marriage with. They have four adult children: Michael, Gregory, Hope and Rebecca.

     Robin grew up in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, then Thorndale but lived most of her adult life in Honey Brook before moving to Loris, South Carolina. She was raised by her grandmother, Claire Everhart and by her parents, Carol Melcher and James H. Small.

     Robin is lovingly remembered as a very contented person, even from childhood, when she could be found quietly drawing and humming to herself in her room. She was also known by almost everyone for her thrifty ways and uncanny ability to turn almost anything into a craft. No matter if it was confetti from a birthday party, a tag off a pair of shoes or just something someone was getting ready to toss, Robin would find a way to upcycle it and make it into her next card or scrapbook.

     Robin spent years assisting Joe with his various business ventures, one of which was named Robin Miller's Honey in her honor and which earned her the nickname, The Honey Lady.

     All throughout her life she was an avid baseball fan and loved the Philadelphia Phillies. She would fondly recall memories of her father, James Small, taking her to Phillies games and getting ice cream as child. She would go on to share that love of baseball by taking her own family to see the minor league team, The Reading Phillies, never missing an opportunity to yell loudly to the players, supporting her team and embarrassing her children.

     Channeling her otherwise gentle spirit, Robin worked as a geriatric nurse for over 15 years, most recently at Wilson Senior Center in Loris, South Carolina.

     Robin was preceded in death by her father, James H. Small and by her brother, Jack Small.

     In addition to her Mother, Husband and Children, Robin is survived by her sister, Karen and her husband Rick Bates, her brother Jim and his wife Jenny Small and sister in law Tammy Small.

    Robin was a kind, gentle, loving wife, mother, daughter, aunt, friend and coworker. She is dearly missed by all.
