Robin's obituary
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Robin Dubose, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, who departed this world on March 18, 2025. Born on April 30, 1964, Robin shone her light in our lives for 61 beautiful years. Her infectious wit, effervescence, humility, loving nature, giving spirit, outgoing personality, and profound reverence for the Almighty, have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Robin is survived by her children, Erica Dubose, Eric Dubose Jr., Isadore Dubose, Shavon Dubose, Leona Dubose, and Joshua Dubose. Her sisters, Roslyn Johnson, Ronnice Foreman, and Betty Lee, mourn her departure as well. Robin's love also extended to her grandchildren, Celest Lewis, Zeron Lewis, Egypt Dubose, and Eric Dubose III, who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Gifted with a nimble hand and an artistic soul, Robin was a skilled artist whose drawings were nothing short of perfection. An antique collector, she had an eye for beauty and valued items with a rich history. An ardent lover of arts and crafts, Robin found joy in creating and shared her passion generously. Above all, her benevolent nature led her to take great pride in giving back to the community and assisting anyone in need.
Robin lived by the creed of treating others as she wanted to be treated and always prioritized family. She staunchly believed in putting God first and honoring one's parents. This philosophy, intertwined with her own acts of kindness and generosity, forms the bedrock of Robin's legacy. Her life is a testament to the timeless adage that it is not how long a life is lived, but how well it is lived.
The fire weed, once a source of joy and warmth in our lives, is now sorely missed. Yet, the lessons she imparted and the love she shared continue to bloom in the garden of our memories. Robin Dubose is no longer with us in this world, but she will forever live in our hearts.
