Thank you to everyone for your support during this incredibly difficult time for our family. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love we've received, as we navigate the shock of what doesn't seem real. We're continually moved as we learn each day, the ripple effect my dad had with everyone he encountered and the countless lives he touched. These stories and memories carry the melody of his joy and spirit, bringing moments of light and smiles through the sadness.

With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of Robin Perry Brooks, beloved brother, husband, father, uncle, papa, and friend. Lovingly known to most as Robbie, he left us peacefully in his sleep on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 70. Born June 2, 1954, at Cottage Hospital, Robbie was a third-generation Santa Barbarian and the middle child of Carolyn Elizalde Brooks and Calvin Perry Brooks. He grew up in their …
