Robin's obituary

Robin Violet Bartelini, affectionately known as Mumzy, was born on August 2, 1952, in Manhattan, NY, and passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, PA.

Robin was a radiant and free-spirited soul who brought joy and warmth wherever she went. Her sweet nature and outgoing personality made her a natural people person; she had a unique gift for lighting up any room with her presence. Robin lived life with a carefree spirit, embracing each day with love, laughter, and a deep connection to those around her.

With an associate's degree from SUNY Sullivan, Robin spent her career as a dedicated school bus driver, where her kindness and caring nature touched the lives of countless children. Outside of work, Robin found joy in swimming and horseback riding, hobbies that mirrored her love for freedom and the simple pleasures of life. However, her greatest passion was her family, whom she cherished above all else.

Robin was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Angelina Tuzzolino, and her significant other, George Pedro; her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas and Anthony Pedro; her loving son, Carl Tuzzolino Jr., and his fiancée, Lisa Bennett; her dear brothers, George R. Bartelini and his wife Monica, and Wade Bartelini and his wife Georgena. Robin was preceded in death by her boyfriend, Jack Deck, and prior to Jack, her husband, Carl Tuzzolino. She was also preceded by her parents, James J. and Violet G.Bartelini, her brothers, Mark A. and James T. Bartelini, and her nephew, Mark A. Bartelini.

Robin was an Episcopalian and found solace and joy in singing with the church choir. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she shared that light with everyone she encountered.

A memorial service and celebration of Robin's life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 100 Underhill Street, Yonkers, NY. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the memory of a woman who lived with a heart full of love and a spirit that will forever be remembered.

In the words that Robin lived by, and in the spirit that she leaves behind, we say, "Love and light."
