Robert's obituary

Robert "Wayne" Jackson, II, age 59 of Oak Ridge, TN, went peacefully to be with Jesus on January 14, at Parkwest hospital after long battle with liver failure. He was previously employed at Oak Ridge Lighting then with Quoizel Lighting in Woodstock GA, moved back to Oak Ridge and was currently unemployed due to health issues. Wayne is a graduate of Karns High School 1982, an Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts of America, Oak Ridge, TN and attended Hardin Valley Free Will Baptist Church.

Wayne is proceeded in death by parents Nellie Faye and Robert Wayne Jackson and neice Sara Smith McDiarmid.

Wayne is survived by children: Ariana, Parker (Savannah), Piper Jackson. Sister's: Sherrie (Greg) Boudreaux, Tanya (RH) Fowler, Teri (Tony) Standridge. Neice: Katlin Fowler. Nephew's: Taylor (Allison) Jackson, Stephen Fowler. Many more family members including Bill Jackson & Joyce (Wayne) Baker, cousins and friends.

The family wants to send thanks to many of his neighbors and friends that helped him lately.

Services are being handled by The Cremation Society of East Tennessee, Knoxville, TN. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life on February 3rd at 2pm with service to follow at 3pm at Hardin Valley Free Will Baptist Church, 10415 Hardin Valley Road, Knoxville 37932 with pastor Rodney Holloman officiating.
