Robert Ward, 79, of Visalia, CA, passed away on May 10, 2022 after a difficult battle with cancer.

Robert was born on August 23, 1942 to Howard and Marie Ward in Modesto, CA. After Robert graduated from Thomas Downey High School in 1961, he worked in plumbing for over 40 years. He celebrated nearly 60 years of marriage to Helen Nelson and they had 2 children, Laura and David. While retired, Robert had time to pursue his love of family and nature, traveling to many national parks.  Robert is survived by his wife, son, daughter, five grandsons and one granddaughter. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and 5 of his 7 siblings . Interment services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park on what would have been Robert's 80th birthday, August 23, 2022 at 10am.
