Robert's obituary

"Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

On June 2, 2024 Robert Brown heard the words he knew he would someday hear. Holding the hand of his wife of 67 years, Margaret (Hansen), he entered heaven and saw his Savior face to face.

In addition to being a prolific yet subtle evangelist, Robert was also a US Army veteran, long-time member of the Hartland Lions Club, and beloved active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Okauchee WI, and the Evangelical Lutheran Synod in Mankato, MN. He was a lover of history, and an avid reader, gardener and world traveler.

Alongside Margaret, Bob is survived by their 3 children, David, Douglas and Rebecca and their spouses, 9 cherished grandchildren, and many affectionate nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his adored in-laws; his brother Pastor J. Barclay Brown (Jeannine) and sister, Noel Dahl (Vern).

A memorial service will take place for both Bob and Margaret whenever our Lord calls Margaret home. In the meantime, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, or the Evangelical Lutheran Synod.

"When from the dust of death I rise; to claim my mansion in the skies. E'en then this shall be all my plea: Jesus hath lived and died for me".
