Shreveport, Louisiana
Robert S. Vincent Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on November 8, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born March 22, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Bob was a proud veteran who served his country as a United States Air Force radar operator from 1957 to 1961. A lifelong learner and community-minded man, he graduated from Brookside High School in 1958. He later built a steady career with Ford Motor Company and retired in the late 1990s after many years of dedicated service.
A faithful Christian, Bob was baptized at Dykes Chapel in Richton, Mississippi by J.R. Hartfield — a moment that remained important to him throughout his life. He loved his family deeply and took great joy in spending time with them. He was also an enthusiastic NASCAR fan, who loved the camaraderie of races and the thrill of competition.
Bob was preceded in death by his sons, David Michael Vincent (1970) and Robert “Bobby” S. Vincent Jr. (2014); his parents, Frances K. Dunnigan (1997) and Thomas F. Dunnigan (1992); and by siblings Barbara Ann Vincent (2011) and Donald Roe Vincent Sr. (1982).
He is survived by his devoted wife, Kathleen Vincent; daughters Peggy Weber (John), Brendan “Bren” Vincent Dunnigan, and Elizabeth “Beth” Vincent; as well as grandchildren Jennifer Clark (Enrico), Katherine Titus, Geoffrey Titus (Elizabeth Leighty), Jessica Tackett (Austin), Kyle Gray, and Grace Fortier. He also leaves several great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends who will miss his steady presence, laugh, and faith.
Bob will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, his faith in God, his pride in serving his country, and his enjoyment of NASCAR weekends and family gatherings. His family thanks the many friends and neighbors who shared his life and supported the family in recent days
