My father passed away august 23 rd 2021 . He hadn’t been feeling good for 3 weeks but he passed it up as a stomach bug he caught at a benefit he had gone to. It got so bad he had trouble breathing, walking and all he did was sleep. I was finally able to convince him to go to the hospital on a Saturday night and in the early morning hours we found out he had advance cancer in the abdominal wall . They drained 6 liters of fluid from his stomach that morning and on Wednesday morning they did a biopsy. My father was told he wasn’t a candidate for chemo because his kidneys had shut down and he has a bad heart . They sent him home Thursday afternoon with the expectation that he had 4 months . He passed away the following Monday morning . My father wasn’t a planner and we thought we had time to get his affairs in order . It happened so quickly and now I have a funeral home to pay along with his bills with no funds . My mother is also no longer here she passed away last May from cancer . We were fortunate to have a extra 7 months with her when the drs told her she had 3-5 days left . So you can probably see where I didn’t think my father would go so quickly I thought we had time to spend with each other and get everything done that needed to be done . I’m not the type of person who ask for help I’m usually the helper but I don’t know what else to do . I’ve exhausted all of my options and this is my last hope to pay for his cremation and his bills.
