Robert Sidney “Sid” Vanderdoes IV, 18, of Columbus, OH, departed this life unexpectedly Sunday, December 1, 2024, in Pennsboro, WV. He was born on June 8, 2006, in Ashland, KY, a son of Robert Sidney III and Brandy Estelle (Ward) Vanderdoes. Sid graduated from Highland Learning Community Center with the class of 2024. He loved life and enjoyed being the center of attention. Sid liked playing Fortnite and basketball. He adored animals and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his little sister, Maggie Vanderdoes; aunt, Erin Moss of Columbus, OH; and several loving cousins. Sid is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Debbie Ward and paternal grandfather, Robert Vanderdoes Jr. He will be missed greatly by the folks of the Holler. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
