A wake will be held Friday, May 15, 2020 at John W. German Funeral Home, 208 North Third Street, Hayti, MO 63851 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A private funeral service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Israel of God Church, 508 W. Washington Street, Hayti, MO 63851. A memorial for extended family and friends will be held once the COVID19 Distancing restrictions are lifted.

Robert was born May 15, 1938 in Catron, MO to Calvin and Elzena Sheard. He married Mattie Malone, May 28, 1959, and raised seven children: Deborah (Isaiah) West, Robert (Tonja) Sheard, Jr., Marvin (Dorothy) Sheard, Alvin (Jean) Sheard, Tresa (Randy) Sullivan, Ruth [Rena] (Tommy) Dicus, Felecia[Lisa](Jonathan) Parks.
