Robert Keith Serafin 62, of Jeannette, PA, passed away on Monday February 28, 2023 after a 12 year battle with lung cancer. 

Robert (Bob) was born on May 21, 1961 to Mary and Casmer Serafin in Greensburg, PA.  Robert attended Greensburg Salem High School, later becoming a truck driver for over  40 years. Bob loved to feel the wind on his face while riding down the road on his Harley or working on his 1956 Chevy truck. He loved his fluffy goldendoodle Gus and keeping up with cheering on the Steelers on Sundays with a cold Heineken in his hand. 

In high school, Bob met the love of his life, Dana Serafin (Geer) of Scottdale, PA.  Bob and Dana went on to have 1 child, Rachel Nelson (Serafin) Later after the passing of his wife Dana in 2001, Robert then remarried his second wife Rebecca Serafin (Koshar) of Mt. Pleasant, PA in 2009 later separating in 2021. 

Robert was preceded in death by mother, Mary Serafin, father Casmer Serafin, sister Joan Koontz and wife Dana Serafin. He is survived by his daughter Rachel Nelson (Serafin) of Norfolk, VA; 2 step-children Chad Koshar of Scottdale, PA and Jillian Leonard (Koshar) of Harrison City, PA; 4 grandchildren Skylar and Cam Koshar and Tyler and Kylie Anthony of Harrison City, PA. 

Flowers can be sent to Ashley DX Nye funeral home in Youngwood,PA. No services will be held at this time per Bob’s wishes.
