Background
Bob found his diabetes 20 years ago. It slowly and methodically took over his body. Bob fought hard to live a full life. Over time it affected his heart, kidneys and eventually every part of him. Bob struggled with heart disease also and lived with 2 triple bypass surgeries, an aortic valve replacement, pacemaker, very poor circulation resulting in an amputation of one leg, the planned amputation of a finger and eventual amputation of the other leg.
