Robert Eric Salter passed away on April 4, 2024 in his 76th year, after a lengthy illness. He is predeceased by his father William Patrick and his mother Grace Lillian Stenhouse. He is survived by his elder sisters Joycelyn (Kurys) and Heather (Tyson, Crowe, Swift).

From the age of eight, Robert had been an avid hobbyist, building plastic model kits and attending hobby shows. He loved sci-fi movies, television, food, music, and jokes.

Robert’s first job was with Kolostat Heating in Montreal. He later moved to Toronto where he was employed by Norseman Plastics, which later became Orbis Canada Limited. He was one of their longest term employees, with a tenure of thirty-nine years.
