Robert's obituary
Robert Joseph Ruzbasan, also known as Bo Bo, passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 64 in Avon, CT. He was born on October 27, 1958, in Hartford. Robert fought a long battle with cancer and peacefully left this world at 5:50 am. He was a resident at Apple Rehab in Avon, CT.
Robert had a vibrant personality and a wide range of interests. He had a deep love for classic music records, his drums, and his art. He also had a passion for classic cars, particularly the Camaro and Firebird models from the late 1960s. After dedicating most of his career to Connecticut Online, Robert found joy in delivering pizzas for People's Choice in Simsbury, where he brought smiles to many people throughout The Farmington Valley.
He possessed a brilliant mind and a kind soul. Robert had a special place in his heart for his cats, Nikko and Bunny, whom he loved unconditionally. He was also known for his talent in storytelling, captivating others with his detailed narratives. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his brother, William (Bill) Ruzbasan, sister-in-law Rena Ruzbasan, niece Sarah Ruzbasan, nephew Sam Ruzbasan, and brother John Ruzbasan and his wife Gerry, along with their children Matt and Karly. He also leaves behind an aunt and uncle and close cousins from afar. He was preceded in death by his father, John Jack) Robert Ruzbasan, and his mother
Patricia Hungerford Ruzbasan.
Robert attended Simsbury High School and had a successful career at
Connecticut Online. He will be remembered as a cat lover and collector, finding joy in their companionship.
Memorial services to celebrate
