Bob's obituary
Robert Harold Repp, known as Bob, passed away peacefully in the early morning on August 7, 2023, at the Cedar Hill Assisted Living in Cedar Hill, Texas.
Bob was born and raised in Garland, moved his family to Cedar Creek Lake in 1982, returned to the metroplex and lived in Rowlett until 2016. Bob and his family owned and operated marinas on Cedar Creek Lake. He loved chatting it up with customers and ensuring they had a great time on the lake, making memories with their families.
Bob married childhood friend and high school sweetheart, Glenda Adams Repp Gigowski; they were married for 31 years. He later married Sondra (Sandy) L. Ray Repp; they were married for 13 years.
Bobs pride and joy were his two daughters: Shelly and Kristi. For the last 7 years, they provided loving care for their father. After suffering a stroke on Friday, August 4, 2023, the girls remained by his side, said “I love you,” reassured him he had been a good father and guided him into the arms of Jesus.
Survivors include daughters Shelly (Don) Sanders of Temple, Texas and Kristi (Brian) Griffith of Midlothian; Brother David (Jackie) Repp of Richardson; Brothers and sisters in-law Darrell (Tammy) Adams and Stan (Janan) Adams and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Bob was proceeded in death by his parents Robert C. and Daisy M. Repp, sisters Diane (Bob) McDaniel, Jeanne (Bill) League, his beloved in-laws, Curtis and Mayme Adams and cousins (partners in crime) George Schlebach and Jerry Woodard.
Per his wishes, his earthly body has been donated to science for research. His ashes will be interned at the Dallas Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the loving staff at Cedar Hill Assisted Living, the expert team at Vitas Hospice and his precious caregiver, Margaret with Visiting Angels. Bob loved animals and Paws for Reflection Ranch is very dear to Kristi and Shelly. Donations may be made in his honor at: https://www.pawsforreflectionranch.org/donate.html
