Bob's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Carl Reichert, aged 72, on December 10th after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born on Valentine's Day 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland to Irma and Frank Reichert. He graduated from Brooklyn Park High School in 1968 before enlisting in the Navy and later completing a B.S. in Business at the University of Maryland.

Bob was a sports fanatic and devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing golf and was an incredible pool player. Bob was also a gifted poet, storyteller, mentor, and teacher who loved nothing more than sharing his stories, knowledge, and experiences with his colleagues and friends.

Bob is survived by his first wife, Carol Reichert, and their two children, Robert Reichert (Kristofferson Chu), Scott Reichert (Helen Sieracki), as well as his second wife Margaret Moran-Reichert and their pets, Polly and Purrbuttons, and his siblings George Reichert, Elizabeth Robson, and Claudia Hickman. He was predeceased by his half brothers, Walter Reichert and Charles "Pat" Hickman.

In honor of Bob's love for animals, the family requests that donations be made to the ASPCA in lieu of flowers.
